    Default New Tutorial Video on Everlast 210 EXT.

    A lot of questions have been asked about the 210 EXT so we've just put up a tutorial on it.
    It's a little fast, so use the pause button if you have to.

    We'll have another video hopefully next week that goes over some performance features such as the welding etc.

    Great video, answers a lot of questions on this machine. I'm really liking this unit. One question though, Is there some reason that the AC pulse tops out at 10Hz? I like the slow pulse under 2 Hz, but really need it to go higher to get out of the strobing frequencies that drive me crazy, like between 5Hz and 30Hz before I would use it. Is that a limitation because of the advanced pulsing? Maybe some of the other features can replace the functionality of high pulse rate. I guess I need more information on how it welds, especially near edges. Thanks, and I look forward to your next video.

    The advanced pulse is used for thin sheets and edge work. It oscillates between AC and DC- during each half of the pulse cycle.(AC= high and DC= low or base amps.) It is a little odd sounding, but works nicely with nice gains in speed in DC- without overheating the metal, and providing enough cleaning from the AC to keep moving forward in the etched area when the DC hits. . I am not sure why it is limited on AC, other than the limits of the machine design and the advanced pulsing. We definitely have asked for more in the future, but this is probably the distant future. Under testing by several people having the slower pulse for AC never has seemed to be an issue. I have an issue more in the 20 hz range than the 10 when I weld. 10 and under seems fine. I get a little woozy around the 20 mark.

    Thanks for the info. It sounds like the advanced pulsing can sorta replace high pulse rates for working near an edge. I'll be anxious to see the actual welds.

    Out of curiosity, how high does the pulse rate need to be above 20Hz for it not to bother you?

    These are great videos. Can you post an updated video on the newer (2015) model 210 EXT?
