Well I feel pretty dumb now hahah.

Its been 10 min since my last post and I found out the problem.

I guess I must have bumped the pre-flow up a bit because I turned it down and voila the hf kicks in. DOH!!!!!

Well at least this thread will be around to help any other absent minded individuals in the future.

Thanks guys for the links It made it a fast fix. or should I say fast adjustment lol.

Well I am glad it was something simple. From what I have heard the points can get dirty or something caught in them to short them.

Joop don’t feel bad I did something similar. I have the PP205 and it works great, but about 4 months ago the arc would not break when I had the foot pedal back (off position). I checked everything, argon, connections, tungsten, ground, pedal, torch switch. So I called Ray told him what was going on and he said to check the end amps and I ASSURED him they were set to 0, but I would check. Sure enough the end amps was turned up a bit and when set back to 0 everything worked just fine.

Another one was the HF would not start after the second month of owning my unit, worked fine before. Again checked everything like I listed before and nothing. I turned the amps way up and nothing except one time the arc blasted out and scared the heck out of me. So after looking at all the settings for about an hour and a half I realized I did not turn on the argon. Turned it on and everything was just fine. I felt like such an idiot, but unfortunately that is how I learn most of the time.

I’m glad to hear you are up and running again.

So, I had a post all ready to go about my plasma cutter not working. I was certain that I had everything setup right, had pictures to prove it. Just looked at the pictures one last time before I hit the post button, and realized I had the torch in "+" . You shouldn't feel bad at all .... we're all pretty dumb.

    Cheers
