Pricing out a Hobart welder... and choosing an Everlast.

Rod has a good point, having a backup small 110 welder can be handy,,, however if you decide to get something with balls in your budget, then iwould suggest a deal with a 205/205P with a spool gun as a package deal,,the everlast people have been very good at such dealings as package deals...at least that's been my experience with them,,,never hurts to inquire,,,,of course the 250P is another matter I have no experience with it but I understand the new ones are spool gun capable,,,I find the Imig 205 able to do anything I want and then some,,,either way you cannot go wrong if it's an Everlast welder,,,I'm happy as hell with mine..

if you go with a 205 mig it's lowest amp setting is 40 amps sorta high for sheet metal . even the 200 lowest setting is 30 amps . that why i kept my smaller lincoln mig since weld thin stuff great still use it for all my exhaust welding since has smaller torch and lead is more flexible - the 205 a little hot for thin stuff . plus nice having the 110 volt with your Hobart for mobile welding .
