Thanks Chris ... I make them for fun and I show them at the drag races and motorcycle runs ... if someone wants to buy them I sell them based on the amount of time they take me to make ... so I get pretty good money for them.

You mean the coffin roadster? I normally charge $20 per hour shop time and I spent about seven hours and there's about $25 or so in materials (steel, wire, gas and electricity) so the least I could let that one go for is ... oh ... $150 ... plus shipping. I know it's totally frivolous and a little crude but that's my art. Remember everything I do is with one eye ... try cutting, shaping and welding with an eye closed sometime ... it aint easy ... LOL.

Been meaning to ask you about that but never really found an appropriate opportunity. Does your depth perception interfere with your welding much?

What depth perception? lol ... it's like anything ... you learn to compensate there are other issues I have to deal with that are even more annoying ... only one ear works and I have no sense of smell (although some people say I have no sense ... period) I have to remember when I'm racing to not do a wheel check when I'm in the left lane because I wont see the win light.

HAHA, Half blind, half deaf, can't smell fumes, and no sense. Glad I'll never be in a race with you (just pickin)
