Hopefully not. It seems like the 200dx is a popular model, so I would bet they keep quite a few in stock.

what feature(s) do you use most often that justifies the purchase of the 250 over the 200dx?

250ex duty cycle at 200 amps i have 100% duty cycle 200 only 60% at 200 amps 250 has start and end amp control and like the spot weld timer also 200 is 30 to 70 on ac balance and 250 is 10 to 90 ac balance plus also you have 250 amp stick welder for thick stuff

Thanks. I don't think I will ever need to weld anything over 1/4", so I'm more interested in the features vs. the output. I do see your point about the duty cycle though.

Yeah you would think. With the new version coming in & the contest ending in a few weeks, they may seriously blow through some inventory though.
