I was kidding lol' but going to start building a double cart soon so my mig and plasma are on one cart 'since i just having them sitting on a old craftsman tool box rite now , cant believe how steel is going up order a bunch today for my skids and under plating bill came to like 600 bucks. I do a lot of jeep Cherokee skids . I copy jcr skids since like how he designed them .He has a good price on his stuff but the cost of shipping today makes better to just make the stuff at my shop shipping on the skids are like 80 bucks . almost half the price of the skids for shipping since heavy since done with .188 3/16 wall tubing

If I had the time welding one would be an option but for now it seems that it will work very well.
Not yet, but no better time for learning I guess.
I will start on some mild steel and then try some stainless.
I picked up a bunch of 16 gauge SS pieces that are about 8" x10" from the scrap yard for cheap and figured they would be a good place to start from.
Consistency is a good thing....unless you're consistently an idiot.

I must admit that it is quite a bit better than the old TV cart I am currently using for my plasma cutter.
I just started TIGing in December, I actually found it to be much easier to make pretty practice beads on AL than on mild steel. Haven't even tried SS yet.Not yet, but no better time for learning I guess.

I agree about the Aluminum. When I took welding classes last year, they started me TIG'ing on Aluminum, he said if you can Tig Aluminum you can Tig anything. After months of working with Aluminum only, I found it difficult to Tig mild Steel at first. I finally got in the groove but you can make some nice looking beads on Aluminum!
