Thread: 210 EXT vs 250 EX which is easier to repair ? And more reliable ? Any guesses?

    lol i have had my 250 all apart when everlast was helping me with a problem with my 250 , turned out to be a bad connection from a plug not fully plugged in as for face it unscrews and has all the plug in leads coming out of it as for soldering if you have like a bad potentiometer or circuit its has to unsolder-ed and re-solder new part back on . the 250 is a very good machine i work the heck out of it at my machine shop and most the time at max or close to 250 since i use it to weld thick aluminum heads its a work horse and always weld great, oh i have had my 250 for over 2 years and to me cant buy a better machine for welding tig plus is great at stick welding to

    I just purchased the 250EX as it looked like a very reliable unit.
    My thoughts were that if this is used enough it could always be sold and upgraded to one of the digital units.
    Consistency is a good thing....unless you're consistently an idiot.
