210 EXT vs 250 EX which is easier to repair ? And more reliable ? Any guesses?

Either machine will do what I need to do .
My main concern is reliability and warranty work.
Is it easier for an " average Joe " to replace a board on the 210 ext or 250 ex?
Are the boards plug and play ?
I know the 210 EXT isn't officially out but what do you think the reliability will be vs the 250 EX?
I believe the 210 is close to the same machine as a Rtech and maybe a Xcalibur welder .
Anyone own one of those ? I know Everlast has a great warranty but the thoughts of shipping a welder across the country can get expensive .

The 250EX can be repaired in the field if you have the right skill set, I have walked people through a repair in the field..

I saw pictures of the 210 inside, but no details on it. The 250EX is a good unit. I will get a 210 just got tech support reasons, but the 250 is nice being able to see all your settings at a glance.

lol i have had my 250 all apart when everlast was helping me with a problem with my 250 , turned out to be a bad connection from a plug not fully plugged in as for face it unscrews and has all the plug in leads coming out of it as for soldering if you have like a bad potentiometer or circuit its has to unsolder-ed and re-solder new part back on . the 250 is a very good machine i work the heck out of it at my machine shop and most the time at max or close to 250 since i use it to weld thick aluminum heads its a work horse and always weld great, oh i have had my 250 for over 2 years and to me cant buy a better machine for welding tig plus is great at stick welding to

I just purchased the 250EX as it looked like a very reliable unit.
My thoughts were that if this is used enough it could always be sold and upgraded to one of the digital units.

I think the welders should have needle gauges lol like the needle's bouncing all over hahaha and a hand crank on the side

Mike i like the 250 since if one knob takes a crap you can change just the one part with a touch pad if it messes up its a hole new pad , never had good luck with those touch pads , when i had a alignment machine with touch pad it was usually worn out in about 2 years with lots of use . darn touch pads was over 500 bucks ouch . not including the service call charge from spx bear alignment machines
