When the pulse in engaged the machine starts to pulse the set amps at the rate set by the pulse controls. The display has to sample the set current at a much slower rate than the pulse is capable of changing the current. So what is happening is it samples the current on the way up and down while it’s pulsing which makes it seem like random numbers on the display.
That is normal behavior.
