  1. Default My first project with pics

I bought my EL PP205 to learn how to TIG Aluminum. I know that everyone says I am crazy, but it is something I wanted to learn. I have been practicing, learning and asking questions to anyone that will listen (including the forum) for the past 4 months or so. Thanks for everyone's help with suggestions.

Now I am not saying or claiming my project so far is up to par or even close, but I am saying that I am learning a ton. Why I am so proud to post some pics finally, is because I feel like I got the pre & post flow right, as well as am welding more than grinding tungsten. Still not even close to perfect, but making progress.

Let me just say how much respect I have for folks in the trade to rely on this craft to make a living. You should double your rates immediately as I have a new found appreciation for the trade!!

This is a storage bin I am making for my V Nose enclosed trailer. You can see in the second picture the bead really sucks and I ran this bead about 2 months ago. The first picture just sort of sucks, but making progress as I ran this bead today. I am learning what everything means on my machine and practicing as I go.

    Cheers
