Try this on for size, I up-loaded at photobucket as you suggested and it seem to work, for me anyway. Good luck!!

Okay, here is a little more about me and a few pics. Mind you, I'm no car professional, this is just a hobby.

This is my wife's first car when we painted it back in 1990, it's a '63 Catalina. We couldn't afford the '67 GTO she wanted, so I found this at a used car lot with no motor. They laughed when we towed it away!!

More from the same time. Sorry the pics are grainy, they're old, the scanner is old, hell, I'm old!!

The block unfortunately cracked and when the motor was removed, the frame was found to be cracked in several places, especially around the steering gearbox, yikes! This seems to be due to a probable front left collision early in it's life. The pics aren't real clear, but the cracked area can be seen with the fishplate going on after the NDT work was done and all of the cracks stop drilled, ground, welded, and ground smooth. The finished repair is also shown. The plasma would have been real nice for the fishplate!!

This is how the car looks now with a pic of my first car thrown in just for fun. Obviously the Cat is a work in progress, (again).

This is my wife's newest accquisition, a '63 Sedan de Ville hardtop. It's all there and clean it just needs paint and a carb. A guy was selling his "toys" and the price couldn't be beat as I was telling Wayne.

This is the '63 Belair that was given to me and I in turn gave it to my son, well, he'll take it after I do the bodywork, paint and interior. Ha ha. I already have the interior, a nice reproduction from Year-One. My son is in the Air Force now, we're very proud of him. I was in the USAF from Nov. '85 until Nov. '92, so he's following in the tradition. His grandfather and great grandfather also served, we kind of have a thing going I guess.

This is my daily driver a '63 Coupe de Ville. We got it at an estate sale. The woman that owned it bought it new, always had it professionally serviced and repaired and saved EVERY receipt for anything ever done to it, including light bulbs. It has a 429, power everything, but no air. The interior is leather and cloth, pretty clean except for the top of the driver's seat where she used to lean on to get into the car after a hip replacement.

We live in Albuquerque NM, but are originally from Chicago. We've been here collectively for about fourteen years. We went to high school together and the rest is history.

The pics are links as I don't know how to get them to show up in the post. I work with computers every day, but this blogging is new to me, so please bear with me, I'll learn!! I've tried it, and the pics can be enlarged when they come up from the link. If anyone knows how to get these on the post, please do tell. Thanx.

We also have two Crown Vics, two Broncos, and an '89 flatbed wrecker. There is also half of an airplane out there too, but that's a whole other story!!

I look forward to getting to know all of you.
