Interesting thread. I'm looking at adding a MIG to the stable. I can definitely see where MIGing aluminum would allow for single pass welds without much heat build up. My 205 can cause warping if I TIG too much in one area. Not to mention the ability to work with one hand as opposed to two when TIGing. Some of us can't chew gum and walk at the same time!
