    Default Pu 205 questions please

Hi, I'm finally getting around to practicing with my pu205. I have two questions:
    1) when I was using the plasma cutter, after a cut, the air wouldn't quit coming from the nozzle until I turned the machine off and start over again?

    2) I'm practicing with my tig using the foot pedal:
    A) I can't set the amperage, or I'm doing something wrong. I was trying to set the amperage to, say 50 amps max, but it still goes to max despite the machine being set at its lowest amp. However, the display reads -006, doesn't go to zero, is it supposed to go to zero with the foot pedal let off?

    B) the argon keeps flowing after I let off of the pedal, unless I turn the machine off. Argon is going quickly at this rate. Yikes!

Thought I'd try here before calling tech; )

does it continue for longer than the setting you have your post flow on?

I only have about 2-300 pounds in my tank, but I checked the post flow. The knob wasn't on correctly, not that it makes any difference, but I pulled it off and put to "0". All n all, I think you solved my problem! However, the argon was shutting off just fine, then began to keep flowing the more I tigged. I wouldn't consider what I was doing excess excessive, just little pieces of thin scrap. Wow, Tech just called, and I had played with the post flow just before he called, and it seems to be working just fine for the tig. I'll work with the plasma tomorrow, ( with him on the line would take too long to swapfrom tig to plasma) maybe I overloaded the machine by cutting too much too quickly, like maybe taxed the duty cycle? I thank you!!!!!! and will have tank filled tomorrow and give both the tig and plasma cutter a little workout! I love my little machine and would fear for it to break!
