My dad made many-a passes down that track. Ahhh memories. I grew up as a kid spending every weekend on that track. My dad ran IHRA top sportsman in the 90's there. I watched him build the whole car in our garage.
Started from a bare chassis and fiberglass body. Build the engine, transmission, drivetrain, everything right there. He won the winter nationals there with that car. After that race, he retired himself from drag racing. He had been
doing it since the 60's.
