Well with my replacement 225LX running flawless I have nothing left to complain about. So it was time to build a weld table.
Seems that most everyone here has built a monster weld table in their
6 car garage. I have a 2 car garage and have to utilize every square inch of floor space.
So this is what I did. I have 2 roll out cabinets under my work bench that I use as
"saw horses". I removed the wood top off of one cabinet and replaced with 1/4 thick
stainless plate (this took forever without a plasma cutter).

The top has 42 tapped holes (1/4-20) equally spaced. I have 1/4-20 set screws in the holes so they
don't fill up with crap.

With the tapped holes I'm going to use hold down (strap) clamps instead of tacking to
the table.
Also I made a plate on the side with a removable toggle clamp so I'm able to
clamp something vertical or horizontal.

The cabinet top is 2 foot square by 30" high. When I'm done welding I can roll the
cabinet back under the work bench out of the way. So technically I didn't add anything
new to garage and have the same amount of floor space.
Next is a weld cart!
