I like the way you have put the controls in groups and in their own colors easy to see. Now the big Decision do I get the 2013 255EXT or 250EX.

I really liked the color coordinated controls as well. I think I'm trading away my little 110 volt mig box later this week for a sand rail frame, so I may be in the market for another welder in a month or two.

I would be prudent and wait until both the 255EXT is available and out there being used for a while before I would move on it.

The 255ext will not be available to the public for some time yet and when it is made available there will be no issues what so ever with it. I am not even going to give a time frame for the expected release as it is still some time away and having rumours floating around helps no one .
However showing the updated look of units currently in production and due to arrive in the next few weeks is a different matter. Here is the 200 DX

Ok, but Oleg promised March to all the old 250EXT owners whom are moving to a 255EXT, so a date has been stated. To also say there will be no issues whatsoever is a bold promise on a brand new machine. I suspect the 255EXT is from a different factory, because I would not be backing a product up so strongly if I was sourcing the machine from the same guys who built the 250EXT. I hope that everything does work out as planned though, it looks like an awesome welder! I would be taking a cautious approach, and instead of opening it up for general availability, I would use the pool of 250EXT owners as a way of vetting the welder even after it passes all internal tests before I put it for general sale.

    Cheers,

    Mike

This particular day was a combination of smog and fog i think it was mostly fog rolling in from the South China Sea . The pictures are a little backwards, the second picture shows the the nightime shot and if you look at the left area in the far distance you can see the overhead cranes for the Shipyards of in the distance. In fact in the first picture you can see i managed to zoom in with my little camera i use to show the area in question and a close up of the shipyard area
With working at the factory i find many days are long as it is sometimes difficult to keep up with production and still find time for all the other day to day matters with new models and improvements etc. It makes for very full days at times

Well beening in Canada and dealing with Duncan at Everlast CA it looks like it will not be available till it is working 100% so I will get the 250EX and in 2014 treat myself to the 255EXT keep both maybe.
