    Default CGCINC Project#5: Weight Stand

My brother in law has a bunch of weights but no stand so I decided to make him a weight stand for a Christmas gift.
This is the one he liked...

He has a lot more weights than this one would hold so I made it bigger to hold all of them. It's just 2" square tubing, 2 pieces bolted together with some feet and 1" pipe to hold the weights. I found some plastic end caps for the 1" pipe at the local hardware store that just push in. The size is 16" wide x 30"long x 27"tall.
I was done welding at 1pm, primed and painted by 2:30pm and delivery @ 5pm!! Of course I'm gonna advise him to give it all night to Completely dry before stacking the weight on it. Don't want to scratch up my shiny new gift!!

    Grind the welds off....
