How does this compare to the 200dx as far as specs goes? I may list my 200dx for sale and upgrade with my 50%off coupon.

    Sean,
It's late tonight, but I will say this. The 210 offers more, especially for running on your generator. It does only have a 35% (as of now..hoping for more with a couple of minor changes to venting) duty cycle at 210 amps. It has all of pre/post, up/down, start/end features of the EX and 256. It also has wave form control additionally. It also has improved stick functions with hot start ajustability. It has 2t4t with an available torch amp control (optional). Memory as well.

I like the curves that the design has added to it. I think the darker handle matches the unit better also. Are all the settings digital rather than guessing on the knobs like the 256?

There is a very good reason why there is no mention of availability or time frames on the Canadian Site

I visited the Factory just before Christmas for more samples/ comparison. We have have changed the design for the face in order to improve air flow and increase the Duty Cycle by another 5%. with further testing and evaluation over the next few weeks will determine if i will be back there in February . If i feel it is needed at that time then i will spend the required time there. But for me to list this information on my site or to pick possible time frames for production when in fact it is really only a ball park time frame is not something i am prepared to do.
So this is What Canada does

The Duty Cycle is now at 40% and in order to do this there has been a slight modification to the mold design for the front plastic bezel.
