Look's like you all like this stuff so here's an update. I've been toying with ideas for a new metal car project and remembered an old 1933? Rolls Royce model I was given years ago. It's in pretty rough shape. That was the excuse needed to pick up a 6" rotary table for the 3 in 1.

Of course, I'm doing it my way (yes at one point I was thinking of a supercharger sticking out with tubs & slicks on the back). The stock wheels are pretty boring, and part of my reason to do this is to challenge my beginner machinist skills. The car is about 15" long, the wheel rim is 2", hub about 3/4". I'm using pins for spokes, 48/wheel (24 on the inside, 24 on the outside. Here's the pics:

Needs to be cleaned up yet
Got bored drilling holes, so I jumped to the frame. The original is toast but will work as a template.
I've since finished the front of the frame and patched up some of the body. I haven't snapped any recent pics, but will share once \i do.
