Looking to get smaller torch soon, what do you recommend?

Get a water cooled torch. All the air cooled torches I've tried get too hot. I don't have a cooler right now either but use the old tried and true water hose. All the parts to water cool is about $15 from Lowe's or Home Depot.

The CK torches are nice but I really like the WeldTech torches. I've got a 20 series torch that is good to 225 amps and is really nice and small. I have the flexible head design and I find that to be very useful.

The factory 18 torch is just way too big. The hoses are just too stiff and makes for a very uncomfortable welding experience. I keep it around for those jobs that may need the maximum 250 amps.

Now I see weight difference CK 17 and CK 20, CK 20 is even lighter and even more amp than CK 17. However what is difference between CK 20 and CK 200?

I would look at our WP-20 as well. The CK20-CK-200 are pretty much the same (size amps) far as I can tell. You can get flex heads as well and super flex cables for them. Arc-zone has them, just google and see them all. If you search our forum you can find links to people who have adapted the CK-200, think I saw it on google to, the link.

I bought the wp-20 flex head through Everlast for my 250EX... Nice and small, works great and it has a 25' lead so I don't have to wheel my cart out so much.
It hooks up to the 250EX with ease and also comes with the quick fittings for the water cooler, I thought I would have to use the ones from the torch that came with the 250. A+!!! This 250EX is a Super nice TIG machine!!!

I got a 9 and a 20 from EL other than air cooled and water cooled both nice size I use the 9 on a smaller unit
