Small mig

I think you all need to have a little mig welder thats cheaper and like just flux core that would be like the 125 migs that run off of 110v

Yeah that would be cool. It would be cool to have it go down to a lower amperage too...Like maybe 20 amps.

Yeah, have just a cheap 110 mig. Just standard as you can get. And i dont think that 20 amps is enough for migging. But not real sure.

I think if you turned the feed rate down it would probably work for .035 wire.

30 amps burns .035 pretty good...So I'd assume 20 amps would burn .022 somewhat. 30 amps burns through some of the stuff I've welded...Got to go really fast and then you don't get a good weld.

1/16" and smaller. It would give you more time to make a good weld VS going fast...And it gives the user more choice. Btw, I'm talking flux core not solid...Makes a difference

Use for 1/16" thick and thinner material.

But the it doesn't look pretty... :'( lol Can you imagine two sheets of thin steel held together by a bunch of tack welds?

What if it needs to not leak water? If a farmer's cattle tank cracks on the thin bottom...They need a water tight weld that will hold.

Yeah that's the way to do tacks, but not good welds on really thin stuff

If you move slow and do a good job... You can burn a .125" rod in a stick welder at 90amps or so. At that .022" wire (according to calculations) could be burnt at 15.84 amps. If I take 20 amps for the wire and calculated back to a .125" rod that would be 113.64 amps and I know you can burn a 6011 and have a decent weld with that.

Will it be like the others with a couple of settings and an infinite speed? I'd really like to see one of the smaller ones with infinite/infinite adjustments. The 125 I have is nice, but I'm tired of being stuck at 1, 2, 3, or 4. It sounds minor, but a little more flexibility would be nice for thinner stuff, different position, etc.
