This thread is funny. And Duncan's post makes it simple, DUH we have more than one Alex.

As one of the (I almost said oldest) longest Everlast employees, I can give a little history on this..

A couple years ago we hired another Alex that worked in the warehouse. He is a hard working young guy. I can not spell his last name but a great guy and thank God he has a phone with a camera in it, I would need a board sent out on a trouble call, he will MMS a picture to me to make sure it was the right part. Great guy.

Well I guess he is taking overflow calls now. And good for him.

So Alex (my boss) decided back then to use his given name (Oleg; he's Russian) to make things easier. Well that spun off things on the internet for a while.. They calmed down... I see it is all back again.

Mark, Duncan, Ray, we still on the phone talking call him (Oleg) Alex. Like Mark said we know who we are talking to or about. New customers do not.

The funny part, we put an R on the end of my name way way back when, so if we hired another Mike, I would be Mike R in tech support. Far as I know, I am still the only Mike.

    Yes,
But Mike people are still getting us confused. Had a call the other day from a customer that was talking away with me about things we "discussed" in a previous phone call that I couldn't remember, and then asked how was the weather down in South Florida.

Oh I know. People still call me Mark on the phone. I finally stopped telling them my name. They confuse us all the time for sure. Hey, maybe we are the same person and Everlast only has two people working there (Alex/Oleg and Mike/Mark).

No if I get someone shocked working on a unit, I will make sure I tell them I am Mark

I can relate to that very easy. At work we have three people named Joe. Better yet, try and have a phone conference call and there are four Joe's on the line.
