Its a common mod particularly for welders outside to keep the backlighting out. But it is better done by gluing velcro on the top and sewing it onto an old leather welding jacket scrap.

I pop rivited a leather cover. Might cut the chin off and add a leather skirt there, too. Hard to get into tight spaces.

Is it OK to use 'sun glasses' for the plasma cutter? I can't see what I'm doing with the shade turned down to 9.

A shade 5 cutting pair of glasses will probably be fine if they are rated for UV protection, but don't forget about the rest of your face and the ultraviolet rays.

You're not being a pest. It has taken a long time. But things needed to be right, packaging had to be made( took way longer than expected), product had to be shipped etc. We'll announce when we have product in hand just as soon as we can.
