Default YOU WANT TORCHES? WE GOT TORCHES!! (and consumables)

We just received a rather large order of TIG torches and Plasma torches with varying length cables, 15 or 25 ft cables. Plasma torches come in both old and new connectors...We have consumables for all torches. We have a good number of consumables for the new A 81 as well, though we have not received the actual torches themselves. We have collets, and ceramic cups as well in decent supply.

All TIG torches have the straight small black handle, even the 18 series, and should all have a flex neck included separately except certain . Torches include the 9F, 20F, 17F, 17FV, 26F and 18F. The 17FV is a good torch for the power arc series and the MTS 400, for scratch start tig operation with the built in valve on the handle.

When ordering a plasma torch, be sure to specify the type connector you have. We have tried to put into stock the most commonly demanded items in the correct ratios of quantity....Its always changing, though, and its hard to guess. Any way, pm or call for pricing. They will be affordable and reasonable, but not "give away" prices.

    All ready to ship.

    Hi Mark

UPS just delivered my new PP256, looks good, no dents or scratches!

I had ordered it with a 25' torch, but it came with a 15'. Torch is a non flex WP18 water cooled.
Katya tells me the 25' torch will be along shortly, they just came in today.

I assume this 25' torch will also be a non flex wp 18. From your info it sounds as though a separate flex head is available to install on this torch. Is this correct? I find it awkward to use a rigid torch after getting accustomed to the flex option, which I have on a little wp9 on the other welder.

BTW, For the PP 256 , this is the blue handled torch with the switch I'm referring to, not sure if there is any other style supplied.

Worntorn, I am a little confused by your post.
All torches that came in were spec'd out as flex heads with straight(regular, customary style)black handles as I stated in my post from the PO I have in hand. I am not sure what you ordered.
FWIW, even the blue handled torch can usually accept the black handles that I have tried. Just open it up, remove the handles and slide the black handle down the hoses and up on the head. IF our customary torches in 25 ft lengths just came in with the fill in order from the factory, I do not know.

I think you'll find the new flex 18's even smaller than the regular torch though and plenty flexible for most welding.

I guess pictures are better than an explanation...So here are some samples of how the torches will look.

Here's the 15' torch that came with it. This torch head is non-flex. I don't see any separate flex head in the packaging.

I ordered a 25' version of this, which will show up in a few days.

I didn't specify flex or non-flex at time of order.

If I can change the head of the 25' to a flex type then that is ideal. Will the 25' torch come with a fixed plus a separate flex head or do I need to ask the Sales dept to send it that way?

I will repeat...ALL torches that came in are the standard, straight handled flex head torch as shown above in my post. IF they are sending you a torch from the order that just came in, it will be flex head and have a black straight handle as show above.

    then that will be perfect.

The torches in the photos are very compact. The blue handled torch has some added bulk because of the switch. 95% of the time I don't need the switch, the foot pedal is in use.

For the other 5% I can change back to this blue handled torch. This is when I'm tacking an exhaust together on a car that is on a hoist, then the switch in handle type torch is useful.

I have the 17F already and wanted to know what you guys would recommend to stop the handle grip from twisting?

You don't that's how torches are made. If you're overheating it, then that can be another issue.

This isn't one of our torches is it? To date, I don't think we've had any in stock.

I'm confused as to how we're suppose to buy these torches. They aren't listed anywhere but here, no price, no picture. You say pm for pricing but you don't respond... Please educate me.

You PM'd me at 2 am this morning according to my records, and I have been working on other things today, and I just didn't notice it.

    But to answer your question:

The 9F with 25ft hose is 145.00 plus 10.00 shipping. This includes the remote contactor switch and DINSE and GAS connectors. Other than installing your consumables, it should be plug and play.
