Thread: Project 2 from Morgaj1

    Default Project 2 from Morgaj1

After getting tired of the el cheapo Harbor Freight welding cart, I decided to make my own. Our local steel yard had some odd shaped pieces at really low prices. So, I fished through it and found enough 2" square tubing to make this. There was an awful lot of work with a cup brush to get it clean. I bought the wheels at Harbor freight.

Its beefy enough to support a house. Great Job. I need to build one for my Hobart and my Everlast plus 3 gas bottles and my Oxy / Acetylene rig, so I get ideas from each of these posted.

Is that cost including wheels/casters? I know those are pretty expensive around here but online they are not bad. Last time I needed the I got a movers dolly and stole the casters from that as they were cheaper. I still need to build myself a cart but will probably order the casters online.
