    Ryan,

After some checking, I think you may have a Euro model that could have been accidentally shipped to us then to you...I have forwarded your issue to Alex. He will email you. But I am following up with the welding wire manufacturers first to make sure. The size of the roll is standard that you have for small regular migs. However, I know I have seen other size rolls similar to the one you have. Also, when I have used a spool gun, I have never taken the time to measure it before. I did measure the Hobart wire yesterday. It measured 1 3/4 wide. I will try to figure the rest out for you before you have any more time lost by tomorrow.

the spool that came with the gun did not have aney wire on it i raped wire from one spool to the other. the 1 7/8 or 1 3/4 i think is the same.
adn i have never seen a spool like the one that came with it.
the welder it self will take the small spool and an 8 in. spool as well.
    thank you

    Ryan,

I will speak to Alex. However, I fear that you have some issues with understanding how to make the torch to work.

But if you will read the sales statement, we are following policy. We pay the freight to you. You pay it back to us. This is better than a restocking fee other companies would charge you. It isn't in the fine print but it is discussed clearly on our site.

You will get your money back if it is within the 30 day satisfaction gurantee. After checking, I don't think it is a mistake. We have sold many, many of these units without any issues. But the spool gun is very nearly the same gun you can buy from other major manufacturers. The spool setup may be slightly different but it seems to work for everyone else. We still seek to make you happy. If you do return it and it is not the right one, then we will take care of you. Sometimes these things happen. We try to keep it to a minimum. Give us a chance to make things right before you get all upset.

I suggest sending the spool gun back only. You will keep the welder and still be able to use it. The spool gun should be used for aluminum only. Stainless and steel rolls should be used through the main mig gun.

We will have new spool guns in stock soon. You may also be interested to know that the welders are capable of pushing the aluminum through the main gun. However, the drive roller and teflon liner must be special ordered. This is a new option and we will have it up on our site soon.
