powermig200 spool gun

what is the deel with the spool gun you cannot put a 1 pound spool on it.
has eneyone had this prolbem.

Can you detail the problem or post some pictures so that we may see the issue more clearly? Is it a clearance issue with the outside of the roll or is it the spindle? Please give some more information so we can help.

What kind of wire are you using?

Performance is asking for the same thing I asked for this morning via email. Maybe you have not read the email yet.

Can you get a picture of the spool, maybe while you are trying to put it in the unit? That would help as I mentioned this is the first I have heard of this.

it is the drum. the spool that came with has a 6 mm hole in it and it is
1 3/16 wide. an off the shelf spool has a 5/8 hole and it is 1 7/8 wide.

I think I can get the spool/drum off a miller one and put it on but that will cost me $100.
i will try to get some pics.

We're going to look into the spool gun you have. I talked with Performance (one of the other support team members). He or I will get more information from the main office Monday when they are open.

We both thought you had a different unit. Sorry for the delay but we will get back to you.

yes i did he said he would get back to me in a few days
and it has ben over a week. so ???
he said he would call the manufacher

Yes, he did call the manufacturer. They are investigating the problem. It may take a few days between conversations to get to the bottom of things. But it takes more than a week to receive a new one, package it and for you to receive it.

You still have the 800 number right? Call it and give Alex a gentle reminder. I will send him a e mail in the a.m. too. But I have personally sent info to the factory myself about it. They are really working on it.
