    The chart is spot on. But, it does not assume the unit will be welding for 1 hour straight non-stop, it assume 10 minutes. The rating is in a 10 minute period. And you can run 30 minutes, but eventually the unit should rest and cool back down.

    So, the chart is right, but you can not run for 24 hours at 150 amps or the internal components and heats sinks will get warmer and warmer so that the unit might perform like it is as 160 amps.

    So at 150 amps on that chart, Mark would be right, you can not run all day on the 100% edge (assuming you had one really long filler wire).. At 50 amps, you might have no problem running all day long.
