BigMacWelds,
Nice talking to you and very sorry we could not run all the testing I would have liked. I sent an email also where we left off on debugging the unit. Ask for ext. 201 and they will...
http://www.everlastwelders.com/manuals has all the updates.
What part does it not tell you? Or better, what do you need to know?
BigMacWelds,
I assume by BigMacWelds you are Big. Not looking to throw down with you. Only looking to help with the welding part.
Call Jessie James for the first part.
Welcome aboard. ...
BigMacWelds,
Just something to try. On some thick steel projects, I was breaking a lot of drill bits. Then I started gouging the holes with the plasma cutter. Very, very fast and not back...
Thanks Ed,
Yea, as an EE like yourself, I too was stumped.
But we figured it out. Great talking to you and enjoy the unit.
Thanks coming back and posting. This is good info and will be...
Well, I can not say for sure as I am in tech support. But San Fran to Texas I would think 4-5 business days.
Posting here is fine. Things can get lost on Weldingweb and also some of the welder like to pick on newcomers.
Ed,
You PM'd me as well as posted. Did you try what I mentioned in the PM. It sound like a ground problem either in your shop wiring or in the unit. Let me know.
The unit runs on 220volts AC, so if you have a good generator that has a clean true sine wave it should work. I will look into this further, but I would think you would need a good quality generator...
Steve,
Thanks for your comments, 6%, that is just "under" the sales tax in my state. Glad you like the unit. Nice to see some new customers are taking the time do drop a line.
Targa3859 and others,
We might have that promotion running now, I am not really sure. The best thing to do is call the Sales office (650 588 8082) and inquire. They can get your shipping...
The TIG torch has a hand (thumb) control. The foot pedal allows you to adjust the current while welding. Many people weld without a foot pedal, it is not required, just a nice feature.
We are working on the longer leads and power cords on the next run. We know from feedback, without a cart and in certain environments (crowded shops) this is important.
As far as the lack of...
Gary,
We have a hand (thumb) controlled switch on the torch as well as the foot pedal. The nice part about the foot pedal is you can also vary the welding current during welding. Many people...
For the manuals go to http://www.everlastwelders.com/manuals
Air is for plasma cutting. Argon and mixed gas is for welding.
Tank size... A good starting tank would be a 80-125cf tank. They...
Glad you like the Super200p. The 200p is a great pick, the MIG 250 is nice as well if you ever need a MIG.
I have a Millermatic MIG (it's been on Craigslist for a couple months now). I don't...
Nice work.
Not related, but do you take their old parts like a core swap and clean them up, weld and resell them? Or just send them new parts.
Thanks for posting.
Pete,
I do not think we have that on the website yet. But we have your shipping records on file. So it is not a major thing to register it. Sorry about the register button not being up. Just...
You will need to call the Everlast main office in Ca. for parts.

That is not a bad idea. I was going to talk to Alex about a finger controlled torch next. Would be a nice feature.
You would ohm out the foot pedal pot and put on on the torch. Maybe a pot with...
Hammerbait,
You are not the first I can assure you (I was in short and in a hurry one day, people thought I went to the beach TIG@180amps).
Somtimes there will be an area you did not notice...
Greg,
Was good talking to you yesterday. Let me know how things went. You have my cell.
Hi Justin.
Figure I would let people know we talked and there was a little verizon issue when you are out cruising or in a meeting. But we finally did hook up.
As far as I was informed, the Arc force is only on during MMA, but you can turn it all the way up when using TIG just to be safe. Also, the MIGs have arc force as well.
Welcome aboard Walter and Ed. Keep us posted on the newgas product.
If Florida counts, then I am in the deep South :D
