I don't run my filler rod down to a very small stub. I like to keep my filler rods fairly long so that I can feed it comfortably. Since I know I'll be connecting them to another rod in the future, I...
I'm cheaper. I weld the stub to a new one to extend it ..... LOL
Hey Don. Good to hear from you again. I've really missed your posts. I've been mostly lurking on the forum for many months. Definitely check back with us after your operation. I'd love to see...
Hey Jim,
I have watched the video on the advanced pulse and thought I finally wrapped my head around how it would be useful for thin metal welding. Now with this deep penetration demonstration...
Glad you weren't hurt. That must have been some molten puddle!
Really nice looking restaurant. Not only does it have fantastic furnishings, it looks like there is a lot of room for the guests too.
Judging from the grind marks, it looks like jakeru was aiming to weld the inside corner where the side rail meets the bed(?) That's one massive heatsink but given the really small and well formed...
Seeing that hole WAS pretty impressive. Mind you, the whole review was impressive. I'm going back to the other thread to look at Duncan's specs to see if I can figure out the settings.
Pretty much everything I would have said has been stated by others already. It looks like you are on the right track. Nice looking beads especially since you are just starting out with TIG.
Hi and welcome to the forum. Welding is a great skill to have. What kind of welding are you primarily interested in? That would probably help people identify which machines might best match your...
Jim, I think some of us are questioning whether you are mortal. You have done us all a great service with your highly entertaining and informative pursuit of what your welder can do. I was literally...
I like the strap idea! These are great submissions. Keep them coming!
Congratulations on your decision to buy a welder. I, too, suggest that you give Oleg in sales a call.

That's a pretty cool looking grille on the front. I look forward to seeing the specs on these new machines as they come available.
Thank-you fdcmiami. You took the words right out of my mouth. I'm all for learning but brucer's points are now just mudslinging and "my red wagon is brighter than yours" ....
Good to hear you are doing OK, CGCINC. Also, congratulations on the new addition to the family!
As to your grand projects, we've all seen some of your projects and they've come out really well...
I'd love to hear about your tweaks but you are right, better for a separate thread.
I think that connector is the same (from what I've read in another thread) but I'm not certain. I wish I had...
Sounds like it was all worth the wait. Truly a flagship product. Good to hear the low amp starts are smooth.
I try to fire up products before tweaking. I never know if UPS did something...
What a tease! I would have loved to have heard how well it welds but thanks for all of the pictures. Great stuff!
Good work done previously breeds good return business and referrals. Looks like you've hooked yourself a really nice business. Welcome to the forum.

I thought my box of fittings was impressive but you win. You also win in the category of amount of copper hanging on the wall.
I gotta quit reading fast. I got to the buddy's cousin part, got distracted by the pictures, went back to reading and thought I saw "knocked-up". LOL.
Glad you like welder. Everlast seems to...
