Thanks and I appreciate the offer. One of my coworkers says he has an old one that he will give me if he can find it. However, if it needs a bunch of modifications to make it work, it won't be...
Thanks, been busy with family issues and just finally starting to get back into my hobbies.
Went to my storage area to get and use my PU205P and it appears someone has walked off TIG torch. Does anyone have one for sale shipped to 44077? Thanks,
Ken
Nice!
:) :)
Nice work and I love old naval vessels...
Why 35 spline? It doesn't allow for much axle twist and can shock load the gears. I went with a 33 spline ARB in the rear, with Superior EVO axles, for the rea D44 and RCV 30 spline axles and an...
I would stay away from any single-phase to three-phase convertors unless the three-phase load is very small.
The single-phase branch will need to provide at least 3*(110% to 120%) of the...
I agree ^...
See you other post for my comments.
Have you ever tried a MIG converted TIG? I imagine it would not work very well since the CC and CV topologies are very different in their internal designs. If you do try this, post up what you...
It really depends on the welder and its source voltage and current requirements. For 220-240 VAC single phase welders a 60A branch should be more than adequate.
You need the 100 posts to enter and then any additional entries count as extra. So 100 posts = 1 entry (required) and then a project in any of the designated areas also = 1 additional entry...
Yeah it would be nice to have a little more current capability, but I really like having the dual voltage option that the 205 doesn't.
What don't you like about the I-MIG 200?
The verbage in the manual is interesting, but it is really controlling the arc current slope while keeping the average current nearly constant. Arc Force is what some manufacturers call "inductance".
You should like it, my I-MIG 200 works very well...
It changes the output current slope, which means it can make the puddle hot (less change in the output current slope) or can make the puddle colder (the slope changes more). Can be used when going...
You have cold solder joints located on the bottom of your picture - X5 and X6 areas. While they "may" not be your problem, they still should be fixed...

Maybe you're selling/trading the wrong helmet. I would use both and then decide which one to get rid of...
Unfortunately clean air filtering means a reduction in duty cycle and/or possible failure based on the current cooling design. My guess is the primary reason for not offering filtered air is that...

THD is a measure of harmonic frequency content. A pure sinewave when viewed on a spectrum analyzer is shown as a single frequency, so THD is zero. A squarewave will consist of many sinewave...
Judy IIRC, the point gap should be glowing blue (ionized air) when the torch is not engaged and the gap should be extinguished when the torch is being used.
Sounds like you gap is too tight... It...
