I'm pretty sure this is the pedal I bought for My 225LX but it's been a number of years.

These are the fittings I used when I built the cooler for my...
Yes, it's the pink stuff that is used to keep the water lines from freezing not the kind you put into the radiator.
You can find it at just about any RV dealer, some Walmarts, and sometimes Sears....
I'm using RV anti freeze and have had nothing but good results so far.
Sorry your machine arrived damaged.
I agree on some of the things you said about the accessories. I hooked up a WP 20 to mine and that alone made a world of difference.
My next upgrade...
I'll say your progressing faster than I did http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b7/JohnnyCharger1968/Emoticons/thumbup.gif
OK, first I tried the large cup and a screen and while it did allow me to weld with the tungsten stuck out farther than I thought possible I must say that found that every time I had to grind the...
The adapter for my WP 20 has the return line on top when it's plugged in to the machine.
That Champagne Nozzle looks interesting. Anyone have any experience with it.
I'm probably going to need something that I can get more tungsten stick out with so I can weld multiple tubes...
The only 2 LWS I have been in have both been great to deal with and I even told them right up front I was a mere hobbyist.
Would you believe the first was Praxair and the second AirGas.
I'm using RV anti freeze that's typically used for winterizing the plumbing so the lines don't burst.
I decided on it since 1.) I already had it and 2.) I did an Internet search and it was the...
Just don't give up. It takes a bunch of practice. I'm just about to get my 4th bottle of argon and I seem to making pretty good progress.
Keep at it and it will come.
Tonight I finally got the new power cable for my WP20 and was able to get some real testing for my cooler as I'm pretty sure the water passages in it are smaller than the Everlast torch.
First...
Othe places sell that pump although for a little more $$
When I ordered it the site said while supplies last and that was 2 weeks ago...
I didn't keep all the receipts for the fittings but best I can recall I have about $150 (give or take) into it. http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b7/JohnnyCharger1968/Emoticons/wave.gif
Can you post all the details of this build?
THis one

If I do anything I'll paint the welder blue http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b7/JohnnyCharger1968/Emoticons/nono.gif
I have what some might call an obsession with it...
Glad to hear your running at full speed now.
I've used both the 2% thoriated and 2% lanthinated and both work well.
Have you tried the red 2% thoriated?
Might make a difference over the pure.
I don't do a lot of welding and what I do is mostly light work. My hope is that the quantity of coolant is enough to keep the temps reasonable but I will keep an eye on and have left enough room on...
I finally got all the parts to build my cooler. I had ordered the quick connects for the lines some time ago but even with those I think the entire build cost with everything was less than $200.

My garage is usually pretty quiet save for a radio which is why the noise of the welder stands out so much http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn35/wildracing/Smilies/laugh2.gif
Using a 2 quart...
I may just leave it exposed or build my own box.
