I would probably have built it with a drawer so that consumables etc. are always close at hand.
My condolences on your loss of Doggie.

I tried to edit by adding the following text:

The attachment manager shows the names of pics I uploaded, will they actually show up?

Any particular reason?
Guess I erroneously assumed that things would be getting back to normal by now. Didn't realize that customs would be part of the problem as well. That really has to suck having your inventory under...

But seriously, did I miss something while I was away?
When is it expected to be back in stock?
I've always read that a good dose of pre-emptive sliming is called for whenever you use those HF wheels.
Very thorough comparison Rambozo, great job. Seems a much better deal to upmod the HF with any of the extra features one might need.
If I only had the room...
I like that one. With my exposure to the welding community pretty much being limited to this forum, I'm afraid I'll just have to be an observer on this thread, unless you want to give me the more...
Looks good Wrdsk, welcome to the forum. Is that 1/4" or does the camera just add 10lbs?
I take it Princess Auto had the same sale as Harbor Freight on those tyres, I was actually planning on...
ROTFL :D
Interesting, mine has both pinch bolts and pins, I wonder which one is the new version. From 150 down to 60, that has to be one of the most hyper-inflated list prices I've seen, even...
From the pics on the HF website, the differences I see are:
1) center has 2 short slots instead of 1 long one

UPS does have some creative excuses for not delivering on time, I checked tracking after a package...
I agree with zoama, if you have the electric service to feed it, you really can't have too much machine.
As far as not trying pulse yet, I've gotta confess it is just lack of time to play and...
I like that. Maybe instead of trying to fit the beast into a cart like I was planning, I should instead build the cart onto the welder.
Looks like great workmanship, Can't wait to see the end product.
Is this the reason you own the 'girly' machine listed in your sig? :D Please don't tell me you are multitalented enough to do...
Jeez, tell somebody to use 7018 on aluminum just once and you never live it down.... :D
Sorry I haven't even had time to check the forum lately. Probably been 3 weeks or more since I made a puddle. :( If you can use them later, I'll get some when I can.
Welcome to the forum Doug, and thanks for the story; I can always use a good laugh!
That sounds like a rather egregious safety violation. And this guy had the nerve to nick you for burning up...
Yep, it's all about the street cred isn't it.
That looks much safer than just letting the torch dangle. Thanks.
Welcome MrBoiler, I think you will be happy with the green machines, I am certainly satisfied with mine. Hope you get a chance to post up some of your work.
I'm glad your meetings were postponed, the wisdom you share here is greatly appreciated.
