Apparently my 255 EXT did not come with a plug for the water cooler. I was thinking about wiring a plug into my 255EXT to power my water cooler on a new cart with an integrated water cooler. Does...

255 EXT is a great machine. I have one and a friend with an engine shop purchased one to weld up aluminum heads. I have had no problems to date with the machine. After welding with this, I would have...
Had a chance to do some more testing with the 255 EXT. Attached is a picture of a root pass and a hot pass on some 2 inch double extra strong pipe.
Just fired up the 255 EXT. This is night and day compared to the 250 EXT. Alex and the team really did a good job providing a great welder.
I was able to run some AC and DC GTAW with some AC pulse...
Still waiting but the welder will be at my house tomarrow. I am working late but will try to fire up the machine if time permits.
Did you receive a shipping notice? I have not heard anything on my end.
Any up date on the shipping? Anyone receive their 255 EXT yet? I sent a note to Oleg that my address has not changed.
Any more updates?
Powerflex does sound better. I thought the web page was going to be updated. This could be included in the update.
RicenoodleFlex may be more appropriate, SpaghettiFlex should be for an Italian machine.
That is a nice cart. I have been following the thread and like the tube look.
I like the brushed look personally. I would use 120 grit to put on the brushed finish. Many sheet metal shops have sanders that can apply the finish and will not charge too much money. If you apply...
The torch my 250 EXT came with is much like a super flex torch. I am hoping the same type torches will be supplied with the 255 EXT. Anyway, if these are the torches Oleg is speaking about, they are...
Any word on this? That will be great if the 255s are in.
The low amp starts are looking lake a huge improvement over the 250 EXT.
Week to 10 days that sounds great. I have the 6-16th off of work and will be around the house during this time!
Belt buckles are awesome projects. I know some pipe welders and it seams like some of them spend more time making belt buckles than welding pipe.
I have heard that having dry air is one of the most important things. How large of a desiccant dryer is typically required to keep the air dry? I have seen some small dryers less than one foot in...
Welcome to the forum. What type of engineer are you? There seams to be many engineers on this forum.
I am a Mechanical Engineer and work in the power industry around NDE and welding for the last...
Most material I will be cutting will be under 1/8 inch thickness so do not think that I need much more than a 50 amp machine like the Power Plasma 50. I would assume that most welding shops should...
Nice to see the videos coming. Are there going to be any videos of the machine running? Also, did you get a chance try out the stick functions with the new machine?
What type of plasma consumable life are you all getting with your Everlast equipment? I have read articles stating that some leading brands are getting 1000 starts with their consumables and have...
Any update on the videos? Also, what is the expected arrival time?
I have found filet welds harder. I have tended to run around 70 to 80 HZ and seems like the heat input fills the joint better. I do find myself moving the arc between both pieces of metal before the...
First nice build. Looks clean and like the hooks to hold the torches. But, how did you attach the wheels?
When I receive the 255 EXT, I will be making a cart to take my water cooler and hold the...
So any update from the pros?
