I checked above and I could not find a revised video.

I'm not sure what the problem is for Kempy. I checked. It's there. I replaced the video link.
First the music was blasting after the feature list now its hard to tell it's there at all. I guess the gods of YouTube are not smiling at you today. I think the effect you setup was to have it as background for voice over, then swell during the feature crawl, and back down to background for the rest. I'll take this version over the first.
Glad to see this machine "live". I have one question, on the gas preflow, when you first accessed it, it looked like it was set at .5 but as you turned the knob, it went so fast that it looked like it was only going in full second increments. If you turn the knob slower can you set a time smaller than 1 second? I think the .5 is about right for most things. It appears that the faster you turn the knob the coarser the adjustment, is that the case? Very cool feature if it is.
I reposted a new link. The new video isn't bad. Watched it. I do know it sounds differently on different speaker systems. My laptop computer has sorry speakers, and I can hear it pleasantly but not loud, but through my stereo headphones (which aren't top of the line) it is blended nicely with a little more music volume.
It adjusts in .1 increments up to 10, then larger whole numbers (no need for .1 seconds really after 10 seconds) or if you push in on the knob, larger increments, by 10 usually.
Mark, That's really a good video, well done!
I'm looking forward to the next clips, and of course, seeing mine sitting in my shop :)
Thanks for your efforts to put these out.
Now ready more than ever in Kent,
Jim
On my laptop, the first was way loud and the second is pretty quiet. I can hardly hear the music at all and the voice is high. Either way, the second video is much better than the first.

I like the two video's you have made and I am starting to understand how the AC Advance pulse works, now all I need is a 255EXT to try it out. Will you be making a manual soon?
Here's one about what's included in the package.

This one demonstrates some of the welding.

The more I see, the more I can't wait to get mine :)
How much longer do you think until they are actually here and being shipped out?
Week to 10 days.
Just caught up on the new videos, fantastic set of accessories! I love the brass ground clamp, and the 25' leads. Being a fan of the clamp stinger, I'm glad to see that, too. And of course I think that the torches you picked are a great combination. ;) Having the flowmeter in CFH should quiet some folks, although I could never understand why that was such a big deal as the conversion is basically a no brainer. The rack and pinion pedal sounds promising, too. This unit is shaping up to be a first class package, out of the box.
Is this unit eligible for the coupons from the last contest, even though it wasn't available back then?
The low amp starts are looking lake a huge improvement over the 250 EXT.
Week to 10 days that sounds great. I have the 6-16th off of work and will be around the house during this time!
All looks good so far now just sit and wait. How many amp will the air cooled torch take. Does the 220V outlet for the water cooler go ON and OFF with the power switch on the 255EXT?
The power outlet for the cooler will be on/ off with the power switch on the welder , at least for Canada. I have specified this on my last trip but with new changes it sometimes needs to be told a couple of times to production before it is all firmed up as a normal process.
As for Canadian production it will not be done until I am at the factory to make sure there are no glitches and if there are some found on the production run during testing these will need to be worked out at that time . it will probably be the end of October before they arrive in Canada
As for the pedals here is the insides and also the overall look compared to current models
Cheers
Well I think all looks good with the new 255EXT new ground clamp, new regulator, 2 new torches 25 ft. air cooled and water cooled with consumables and a new stick electrode holder just missing one thing the welder just have to wait and in Canada just a little long but it will be worth it. Everything looks good Everlast on the new PowerTig 255EXT.
