Geezer I use three ways of mounting the glass: double-sided tape, silicone sealant and furniture sucker for glasses

You sure did a nice job of hiding it! I was thinking the fact that the glass is meant to be tucked into a corner would prevent the side to side motion, and the weight of the glass would prevent back-to-front motion. But the tape / sealant / suction cup answers all the questions.
