That sounds good, I will send you a PM, once I learn how.

I called arc-zone yesterday to order the set up, the guys said they have had quite a few people with new everlast machines call and order the ck200. So many in fact that they were sold out of them. The good news is they should more in 2 days.
I also use a CK 200 and love it, You will too! That QW5 connectoris slick and works well.
excellent setup. show some pics of what you're using it for
Lots of good info. I was wondering if Everlast made a smaller tig torch. Being just a hobby welder I got a Harbor freight TIG a couple years ago and that torch is perfect for my needs. Most of my welding is on SS railings and tubes/pipe on boats and getting into tight angles is just easier with a smaller torch.
The Harbor Freight TIG just doesn't have the functionality of my 225LX:D:P
After working with the ck200 for a while now...for me it wasnet the torch that was a problems but the cables. The stock ones are a lot stiffer and weight quite a bit more then then the ck superfelx cables. I do like the switch mounted on the torch of the stock wp18, I did order a connetor so I can add a switch to the ck200, just havent gotten a switch I like yet.
I think we have quite a few in stock now. 12.99
I'll have to go back and read everything, but will the ck200 work on the 225LX? I would like a smaller torch and lighter cables, too.:D
What does the conversion cost?
Come to think of it, I don't do a heck of a lot of welding so I could just get by without a water cooled torch. Do any of you have a specific model air cooled torch that would work?
Give arc zone a call they have the 2 adapters you will need, if you go water cooled. If you just go air cooled then you will just need the 1 adapter for the argon. I shopped around quite a bit and if you want a ck torch then arc zone is the place. If you go with some other torch I would still give arc zone a call as they have the adapters you will need and you can even get them to crimp then on the hoses for ya
OK, Went to Arc Zone and looked at their torches. This got me thinking. The harbor Freight TIG torch is small a lightweight and good enuff to do most of my small projects. I think I'll do a little studying of it and see about adapting it to the 225LX. I'll give Arc Zone a call and see what is needed to adapt it and maybe getting a longer hose for it.:)
Have you looked at our ready to go upgrade torches?
I seen them but I already have a harbor freight one which all I would nee to do it get a differnt head on ebay for like $15
