That's good to know. I would really like to become more involved with projects like that once I finish my automotive projects. I'm tired of working on rusty junk projects! Give me a simple project, some fresh metal to build it from, and a clean area to weld it in and I'll be more than happy at this point! :)

I agree totally. Hate the grease and the dirt. Im a prissy bitch now. I just picked up four more legs for the second chair.
Cost is with 7% tax about 38 bucks. The stamped pieces for your feet are about 20 bucks. The hub and spindle around 68 bucks. Stamped steel balls for the feet are 8 bucks
So that is 134 just for the metal base.
Wood, well that depends. I have paid serious dough for some types of wood.

Ill post up some dimensions later and the original photo for my rendition.
