True, but you do use a pair of contacts in the plug to indicate that a pedal is connected, so you could use that signal to switch out the slope pots either with a solid state circuit, or even something simple like a relay. It's not like a major design revision would be required. Just something to keep in mind for the next revision.Quote:

I personally like having the flexibility to adjust things to a state where the machine won't even function, but I know that makes for a machine that is not n00b friendly. Sometimes you get really interesting effects out of very unconventional settings.

To REALLY be the Steve Jobs of the welding world, Oleg will need a little more dramatic flair, and make everything in polished white plastic and/or brushed aluminum with proprietary connectors, and cost MORE than the competition. I totally agree. I was pointing out that you're different from Apple in several ways (e.g. premium price), but similar in that your machines do the job and do it well. It's all good, er, cool. Case in point - I own more Everlast products than I do Apple products, and I intend to purchase more Everlast products, and have no plans to purchase any Apple products.Quote:
