I think that guy is the Troll Hunter from Norway
So I am working on have almost everything together that I need to build the cabin at one time and not wait on parts. Plus I have to finish welding up the frame too. Which is taking the longest because I am doing so much extra stuff that most people don't do. Usually they just buy a trailer and bolt the cabin to it.
So here is what I got this week. By time I come in from work, it should all be there.
4 hinges. 2 for the door, 2 for the hatch: $49.23

Looks like you have some work ahead of you. Where did you get the fenders. Very nice. I heard Norther had aluminum ones for $33 each one sale awhile back.
Here is the seller's store on eBay: http://stores.ebay.com/Johnsons-Surp...p2047675.l2563
I work on a boat, so I buy everything online haha!
As far as work goes, yes. I am trying to have everything together so when I am home, I can hurry up and build it. I only have until March. And with me working offshore,my time is very limited.
Johnson would be a great deal if not for shipping. But still nice to know, the steel none DP were a good price.
My son is talked about working on a boat. What do you do? Looking forward to seeing the final trailer, guess we have to wait a bit.
The complete build will be done by the end of March. The welding part will be done this week.
I am a push boat captain on the Mississippi River.

Also,I would like to mention, that it don't look like much now. But once the trailer is done, The cabin can be finished in about a week. And I have most of the parts to finish the cabin right now, other than a few small things. I am trying to get everything together, hat way I don't have to wait on stuff when I start.
Very cool. Looks like it can be a relaxing job a lot of the time. But can get a little tense too? :D
I did that as a kid, worked on a tug. Deck hands work.
I finally finished up my frame. I had to do a couple of welds on the bottom, then flip the frame over and weld everything else. Then I had to make the tongue extension.

Also, everything has came in the mail. I picked up a bunch of hardware and the Kreg pockethole thing. And a few nick knack things. More to come in a couple of days. I will start the wood working tomorrow.
I am not doing anymore welding on the other stuff I have to weld until I have a MIG welder.
I see your project is moving again. Where did you get your measurements on axle placement? Did you see one and copy it of online plans?
Looks like you will be busy for a bit.
I can't exactly remember where I got the plans, but I downloaded them from somewhere. I can post a link in a couple of days. I'll upload it to my server and post the link.
Update:
Today, I have been working on the fender, and rack outside the fenders. The boxes will have aluminum diamond plate in them. Tomorrow, I will finish the front ones. Then mount the fenders and wire up the trailer. Hopefully as of tomorrow, I'll be done with this phase.

All this let's me know I need a welder cart. But I want to buy a plasma and MIG before I do.
Coming along quite nice. Way down the road, but what are the plans on paint? With POR-15 and Miracle Paint these days?
This does show you can build a trailer with a TIG. Just takes some time. Metal tag holder, beware you are probably going to bend the tag up a couple times.
I'm cutting off the tag holder and getting the tag mounted on the fender.
Also I am buying the I-MIG 200 this week as well.
First thing I am building is a welder cart for both of my machines.
This may be a dumb question but why is one fender mount longer than the other?
If you mean this pic

I think that's just the camera angle and the one frame is higher in the rear because it's being held up by the license plate bracket.
Yep thats the one, lol. I was scratching my head on that one.
