The torch amperage control is not a feature of teh new model. It is just a different torch that can be purchased. It is (or at least was) available for the older model as well.

OK ... now I am confused ... once I get my new machine I'll play with it for an hour and it will all become clear ... sometimes that's just what it takes ... nothing clears things up a like hands on ... SHOCK ... been there done that ... it usually works ... LMAO ;)

years ago when I worked at a hospital in San Jose in the closed community mental section there was one "Dr" who used that a lot on his patients ... they may have had things a little more together when they left but pretty sure their IQ's were substantially diminished.
