Too funny.
Never know, you might like it. My sons last girlfriend was an art major. He gave her the MIG and MMA to try (show her how hard it is), and you should have seen the welds. Everyone got quite. She later made an abstract boat from scrap.
OK, I see you point. Never mind.
OK, I'll bite... do you still have it, what do you want in trade, or what would you consider in trade? I'd rather barter my way through life :) if only stores still worked that way.
This is the mill i want Attachment 6879 I have a Bridgeport but like the variable speed control knob on this one. here a pic my old BridgeportAttachment 6880
In fairness, I'd like to see if the OP is still interested, but if not... I'll definitely get with you Mike.
At some point, I'll get my 1942 Van Norman 12 up and running. I was looking at a Bridgeport until I saw that a VN12 can bury a cutter in steel and plow through at cut depths and rates that would snap a head off a Bridgeport... After putting my hands on it and seeing the outright rigidity, my upgrade will be to a bigger VN, there's just no flex in those things. Now that I lost that contract, looks like I'll have enough time LOL (looking for the silver lining still :) )
whats nice always can still get parts for Van norman stuff , had a van Norman 570 broaching machine wish i kept it
Cool, glad you got it sold! Thanks for letting me know.
Ok, Mike, will send you a PM...
