I have a log splitter I modified with a drop hitch so it would tow behind my 4wheeler. Off road only. I'm not sure the category it would fit within for the contest. Any ideas? thank you.

The contest guidelines call the category 'shop tools' or improvements. Guess I don't look at my log splitter as a shop tool, at least not for metalwork. (being funny) I already added my bandsaw stand as a shop tool improvement. Maybe a moderator will chime in here before long. Thank you.Quote:

Question: when is this spring contest going to commence? If at all possible can it be a spring-summer contest spanning both. That'll allow the snow to melt and allow for a lot more outdoor projects. Like maybe April or is that too late?

This thread is associated with a contest from last Spring, not the current contest. The current Winter contest ends Feb 28 2013, when contestants and their entries are considered for prizes.

I thought it was an introduction into this spring's contest. Although it doesn't make much sense as the winter contest is still running. That's what happens when you work straight night continentals. The gears don't turn as fast as they used to.
