In the mean time I started closing up the rest of the openings trying to keep things from getting too far away from possibly looking OEM+

Worked on the wheel well.. This was actually interesting. The front of the wheel well lines up pretty close.. The rear was a couple inches from matching together but with some banging, it will fit together.
Welded.. I did have a problem with the rear of the wheel well wanting to burn holes even with my welder all the way down so I ended up getting it to weld though and the front seemed to work decent and I was able to turn the welder back up some and make sure it was burning in solid.

And patch the last hole.. Here you can notice my problem with the rear of the opening that I had.

And started a piece to fill the rear of the wheel well and fit it to the R floor

And keep the idea that I may need to remove the bolt there sometime..

And that is how it sits and I guess will sit until I can work on it again. Anyway I guess I am close to being able to say I have an AWD MK3 now :)
All the welding done in this update was with my MTS200s which I have only used for MIG but have found that it works well after the first initial complications I had while getting the machine setup. I have used a Lincoln Mig before the MTS and can't say that I like the Lincoln any more than the Everlast.
