Identify this welder???
I know this is the Everlast forum but I figured since The welder pictured is being replaced by a Powertig 250ex I could post this. LOL
I inherited this welder a few months back told that it works but I am too nervous to even plug it in and try messing with it without having it checked out by a certified tech first being it's in rough condition. I believe it's a 250 amp ac/dc hf unit but the model name and number has worn or eroded away lol. I am just going to try and sell it as is on craigslist but it would be nice to know the Model or the welder I am trying to sell if possible.
Here it is in all it's glory

Here is the best I can come up with - there isn't much out there on this old of a machine. Miller model 250 AC/DC-HF TIG welder.
Best link I could find with decent pics. http://www.govdeals.com/index.cfm?fa...232&acctID=853
Hope this helps.

I believe Its a version of a Miller Dial arc. Still made, but cheapened up since that one. Fine welder.

wow thanks guys. This helps alot, Any idea what i should ask for it as-is?.
I can't really test it because the cord is shot if I even move the cord chunks fall off it. If I uncoiled the cord I think I would be left with just the bare wires. I got it for free and just getting the thing out of the shop and out of my way would be great any money I make is a bonus. LOL
