Cart before the horse
I purchased a Weldmark 24W-25 foot 180 amp water cooled TIG torch. No welder yet.<G>.
Now I can't locate any consumables for the durn thing. Not even Chinese.
The Weldmark site is one big mess and ebay has no listing for the '24'.
I thunk I got meself a big yellow lemon.. . .charlie

A 24 is a micro torch. It has no back cap and the consumables are real short. Its made for getting into tight spaces, behind pipes close to walls and floors and similar applications. I have a torch body myself. About any welding supply store should have the consumables....No problem. Just look for it under WP24 (weldcraft).

Would it be possible to attach a different torch to the cable, gas and water lines?
-
Can you clarify your statement? What different torch to what cable? what gas?...etc?
-
Performance. . . . I would like to salvage the water hoses, the gas hose and the conductor cable and put a 'regular' torch head on these. This should be possible, hopefully. Do you know where I can locate consumables online for the 24W?

Here are parts and consumables for the wp24.

Are you sure that this is what you bought? In your original post you said you had a 180amp water cooled torch. The wp24 is a 80amp air cooled torch.

Slip the handle off the torch head, and you will see connectors under the handle where the cables connect with the torch head. Just get a replacement torch head that matches the connectors on your cables, and the torch head should be a direct swap.
Be careful not to exceed the current carrying capability of your leads, or you can melt the insulation. (Which is really bad news; see pic for a one-piece aircooled hose that got melted from exceeding the cable's current&duty cycle.)
Weldcraft shows the same part numbers for the gas, water, and power hoses of the WP-24W as they show for the WP-20, so you should be able to swap a WP-20 torch head onto those WP-24 cables.

The torch and hoses I purchased are WELDMARK, not Weldcraft. Mine is the 24W-25. It is listed as 180 amps. I'm having a heck of a time locating comsumables for this small torch. In Jodys videos he said he liked a smaller torch and was going to get a #7. Any idea of what brand and part number for this torch?

Footboarder,
Don't worry about who makes it. Weldcraft is the standard that almost all torches are made to. Whethere its Everlast, weldtech, weldstone, weldmark, weldcraft, CK or others, everybody uses the same basic design and nomenclature such as wp 18, wp 17, wp, 26, wp 24 etc. Some may have an extra letter or number, but nearly all will be almost identical in construction. Consumables will interchange pretty easily from brand to brand, as they use the same threads, and dimensions. Yours should easily interchange with any weldcraft or other brand 24 series torch. It isn't as common as some, but it isn't uncommon either.
