Trouble shooting
Hello. I have a PowerPro 205. Had it in the shop for 5 months or so now. We ran a test when we first got it and it seemed to work then. I only made a few cuts in some 1/8 plate just to see that it was working.
I went to use it the other day after it sat covered up for a few months and noting would happen after pulling the trigger. The machine turns on fine, but pulling the trigger does not start the air or create an arc. I double checked that the air was on, and it was. Is there something I can check, or some way to trouble shoot where the problem lies? I am really left scratching my head at this point.
Thanks In advance

Be sure the air pressure is between 60 – 75 psi on the regulator gauge. And that the consumables in the plasma torch are tight and in good shape.
If that doesn’t do it give us a call.

No air would typically be in your connections. Is the torch in the right hand side? Is the pilot arc and control wire hooked up?
If so, you may have a loose trigger wire located in your torch. Remove the 4 screws and twist the black trim ring off the bottom, and gently remove the top half of the torch. Check to see if the wires are all in place.
