HI again!
i know im asking alot of questions but im really currius about how my powerI tig is working... so this may be a question to the everlast crew, and im sorry if this is a market secret but what type of rectification do you guys use to convert AC to DC? is it half bridge or full wave ?
pleas let me know before you delete this (if this is a secret) so i dont have to wait for nothing :-)
by the way the welder rocks so hard! havent managed to out drive it yet!Best regards.

Hey Ill, if I told you I’d have to kill you LOL.
No I don’t think I’d be reveling any secret stuff by telling you it’s a full wave silicon bridge rectifier, actually on the iTig 200 it’s 2 in a series circuit. Pretty boring if you seen inside much electronics you’ll recognize it.
Here are a couple of pics so you don’t have to open yours up.
The iTig 200 in my opinion is one of the “sleeper” units in the Everlast line up, right up there with the PowerARC 200. A great value for the price / features / output.
Small portable, feature rich. I like it!
