315 amp tig welder

Hi all i am intersted in why the 315 amp machine is only available in 3 phase input for power is there any way this was a mis print ?

I have a ac/dc 250 machine from everlast and it is a great machine but was looking for something with a little more power to be able to do heavier duty jobs .

Is there any possibility that this machine could be run on single phase or be built to run on single phase power.

The 315 is intended as a commercial machine only. It's amp requirements on single phase are higher than most people have available.
