210EXT does't weld. 804 error code

Has anyone any experience with error code 804?

I started to weld aluminum, and the aluminum rod other end touched the metal table while I was welding and the TIG stopped working. Now It shows 804 in the display.

I measured the inverter and it doesn't work correctly. But it is very difficult to find the fault without schematics. Also the build "quality" is far from good. Many components are added afterwards on top of the other and so on.

That looks like an older 210? Call tech support at 877 755 9353 ext 207. They can help you. After you do, please report back.

I bought it 2016, I don't know if it is "older" or not :)

I sent email to support. They were guessing that the inverter board is broken. It indeed looks like it, but I want to be sure first before I buy spare parts.

Check and see if you are still under the 5 year warranty.

Unfortunately here in Finland we seem to have only two year warranty :(

I fixed it! One diode was broken from this board. I don?t know what it is for.
